How do I get my pattern after I buy it?
Right after checkout you land on your order page with a download button for every file, plus a "Download all (zip)" button. Bookmark that page: links last 7 days and reopening it always gives you fresh links.
I am on my phone and cannot open the zip.
No problem: you can download each PDF on its own from your order page, no unzipping needed. On iPhone, PDFs open in Books or Files. On Android, they open in your PDF viewer or Pattern Keeper.
Is anything shipped to me?
No. Everything in the shop is a digital download. No fabric, thread or hoop is included. Each pattern lists the DMC colors you need so you can shop for supplies.
I lost my download links.
Contact Sara with the email you used at checkout and she will send your files again.
Printing & Pattern Keeper
How should I print my pattern?
Print at 100% ("actual size") on US Letter or A4. The black & white chart is easy to read and saves ink.
Do your patterns work with Pattern Keeper?
Yes. Every pattern includes a Pattern Keeper friendly PDF. Import it, and mark stitches off as you go. Pattern Keeper tracks full crosses only, so any backstitch is listed separately in the PDF.
Is there a large-print version?
Yes, pattern PDFs include a large-print chart with bigger squares and symbols, which is lovely for tired eyes.
Stitching
I am a total beginner. Where do I start?
Pick a pattern marked Beginner, or start with a free pattern. The blog has gentle guides for your first stitches.
What fabric and thread should I use?
Each pattern suggests a fabric and lists finished sizes for 14, 16 and 18 count. All colors are DMC stranded cotton. Most designs use 2 strands for cross stitch on 14 count.
What is "confetti"?
Confetti means lots of single, isolated stitches of one color. It makes stitching slow and fiddly. Our patterns are designed to keep confetti to a minimum.
Orders, refunds & license
Can I get a refund?
If a file has a problem, we'll fix it or refund you. Accidental duplicate purchases are refunded too. See the refund policy.
Do you have discount codes?

Can I sell what I stitch?
Yes, you may sell small quantities of finished, hand-stitched pieces (credit appreciated). Please don't share, resell or redistribute the pattern files. Read the full license.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Checkout is handled securely by Stripe: major cards and, where available, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We never see or store your card details.
