Autumn cross stitch is my excuse to light a candle, make a mug of cider and slow right down. This little collection has a patch of heirloom pumpkins with curling vines, a round wreath of maple, oak and birch leaves, a steaming mug of apple cider, a red squirrel holding his acorn and a Thankful sampler with a harvest border.

Pumpkin cross stitch and a Thanksgiving sampler
Three of the five patterns are beginner friendly: the Pumpkin Patch Trio, the Apple Cider Mug and the Thankful Sampler. The Acorn Squirrel and Autumn Leaf Wreath add a little more shading. They sit between 60 and 96 stitches across, roughly 4.5 to 7 inches on 14 count aida, and use eight to ten warm colors.
The Thankful Sampler is lovely to stitch in time for Thanksgiving, and it stays up happily all fall. Each pattern is an instant PDF with color, black and white, large print and Pattern Keeper charts, plus a DMC floss key with skein amounts. Stitching on a different fabric count? My fabric size calculator tells you the finished size in seconds.
Good to know
Are these patterns a physical kit?
No, these are digital PDF patterns. You download them instantly after checkout. Fabric, thread and hoop are not included, and each pattern lists exactly which DMC colors you need.
Are they suitable for beginners?
Every pattern has an honest difficulty label. Beginner patterns use a small palette, full cross stitches only and very little confetti, so they are lovely first projects.
Can I use Pattern Keeper?
Yes. Every pattern includes a Pattern Keeper friendly PDF along with the full-color and black & white charts.
