The Hearth is my signature collection, and the one closest to my heart. These are home sweet home cross stitch patterns about the little things that make a house feel like yours: a crackling fire, a teapot on a gingham cloth, a cat asleep on the window seat while the rain comes down. They're the scenes I picture when I finally sit down with my hoop after the kids are in bed.

Cozy home cross stitch for slow evenings
There are five patterns here, and two are beginner friendly. Teapot & Toast (70 x 60) and the Home Is Where the Hearth Is word sampler (8 colors) are gentle places to start. The Fireplace with Stockings, Rainy Window Reading Nook and Rocking Chair & Quilt are intermediate, with 12 to 14 colors and lots of cozy detail to sink into.
The fireplace has four blank stocking cuffs and a full alphabet, so you can stitch your family's initials. It makes a sweet Christmas gift.
Every pattern comes as a full-color chart, a black & white chart, a large print chart and a Pattern Keeper PDF, plus a DMC floss key. If you'd like all five, the complete collection bundle is the gentlest price.
Good to know
Are these patterns a physical kit?
No, these are digital PDF patterns. You download them instantly after checkout. Fabric, thread and hoop are not included, and each pattern lists exactly which DMC colors you need.
Are they suitable for beginners?
Every pattern has an honest difficulty label. Beginner patterns use a small palette, full cross stitches only and very little confetti, so they are lovely first projects.
Can I use Pattern Keeper?
Yes. Every pattern includes a Pattern Keeper friendly PDF along with the full-color and black & white charts.
