About this pattern

A row of four gingerbread cookies, two grown-ups and two little ones, holding hands with their icing and buttons on. It's my little family in cookie form.

The design is 90 x 40 stitches (about 6.4 x 2.9 inches on 14 count Aida) in 8 colors. The shapes repeat, so once you've stitched the first cookie the rest go quickly, and it's beginner friendly.

You can easily change the bows and buttons to match your own family, which makes it a lovely personalized gift for grandparents. It fits nicely in a long frame or an oval hoop.

You get a full color chart, a black and white symbol chart, a large print chart, a Pattern Keeper compatible PDF and a floss key with DMC numbers. It's a digital PDF pattern, so no fabric or thread is included.

How do I get my pattern?

Right after checkout you land on your order page with download links for every file, plus a "download all" zip. Links work for 7 days, and you can reopen your order page anytime to get fresh links.

Is this a physical kit?

No. This is a digital PDF download. No fabric, thread or hoop is included and nothing is shipped. The floss key lists every DMC color you need.

How do I print it?

Print at 100% scale (or "actual size") on US Letter or A4 paper. The black & white chart saves ink and is easy to read. You can also stitch straight from a tablet.

Does it work with Pattern Keeper?

Yes. A Pattern Keeper friendly PDF is included, so you can import it and mark stitches off as you go. Backstitch (if any) is listed separately, because Pattern Keeper only tracks full crosses.

What is the free bonus pack?

Every order comes with a little thank-you: my one-page beginner cheat sheet and 3 bonus mini patterns (a star ornament, a tiny tree and a little mushroom). They appear on your order page next to your patterns.

Is there a discount if I buy several patterns?
