About this pattern
This is the garden I wish I could keep alive all year! Every day of 2027 is one little tulip, and its color comes from that day's temperature: cool blues in winter, greens in spring, honey and coral in summer. Each month gets its own row with the month name stitched at the start, so you can always find your place.
The stems, leaves and soil lines are already part of the chart. Each day you only stitch the tiny tulip head, which takes a couple of minutes with your evening tea. Busy week? Jot the highs on the log sheets and plant a whole row at the weekend.
You get a filled-in example garden (the one in the photos) and a blank garden for your own year. The temperature key has 12 bands in both °F and °C with DMC numbers and swatches, and there's a worksheet so you can tweak the bands for your climate. There are 12 monthly log sheets with the right weekdays for 2027 (it starts on a Friday) and a short guide to stitching a tracker.
The finished piece is 143 x 119 stitches, about 10.2 x 8.5 inches on 14 count. I'd call it a relaxed intermediate stitch: simple shapes, lots of color changes. It looks so pretty on cream or antique white Aida.
