About this pattern
This one started at our kitchen table. At bedtime we ask the kids "what color was today?", and somehow it turned into a stitched mug for every day of the year.
Each day of 2027 gets one tiny mug, colored by the mood of the day: happy and bright, calm, cozy and loved, tired, busy, or a bit blue. The handles are already on the chart, laid out like a calendar, so you just fill in the little cup. There are no bad days on this chart, by the way. A blue mug is just part of the year's story.
You get a filled-in example year (the photos) and a blank chart for your own. The mood key has six colors with DMC numbers, and a worksheet lets you rename the moods if your family has its own words ("silly", "proud", "sick day"). There are also 12 printable monthly mood logs with the right weekdays for 2027 and a little guide to stitching a tracker.
The finished piece is 143 x 146 stitches, about 10.2 x 10.4 inches on 14 count, using whole stitches and only nine colors. It's beginner friendly and a sweet project to share with older kids.
