About this pattern
April gets two birth flowers, and they're both so pretty together: two fresh white daisies with sunny centers and sprigs of pink sweet pea with little curly tendrils, tied with a pink bow above the word April.
It uses 9 DMC colors. The daisies have a soft gray outline so the white petals show up on the fabric, and the sweet peas are tiny ruffled blossoms that add a lovely touch of color.
It's light and springy and a perfect handmade birthday present for an April baby, a friend or a mom.
Every design in my Birth Flowers series shares the same layout: a small tied posy with a ribbon bow and the month name underneath, about 3.6 x 5.7 inches on 14 count Aida (50 x 80 stitches). They frame beautifully in a 5 x 7 inch frame, and you can leave the month name off if you'd like just the flowers. I'd stitch it on antique white Aida.
You'll get a color chart, a black and white chart, a large-print chart and a Pattern Keeper compatible PDF, plus a DMC floss key and a how-to-start page.
