About this pattern

Is there anything cozier than a cat that has tucked its paws in and turned into a perfect loaf? This sleepy gray tabby has found the best spot in the house: a little patchwork quilt in pink, sage, cream and butter yellow.

The pattern is 60 x 50 stitches in 10 DMC colors, roughly 4.3 x 3.6 inches on 14 count. It's all full cross stitches, with no fiddly fractional stitches or backstitch. The quilt squares are wonderfully calm to stitch, and the cat's happy closed eyes make it a very quick face to get right.

It looks lovely on white Aida in a 5 or 6 inch hoop. I think it would make a sweet gift for a new cat owner or a quilter friend, or just a slow-evening project for you.

Is this a physical kit?

No. This is a digital PDF download. No fabric, thread or hoop is included and nothing is shipped. The floss key lists every DMC color you need.

How do I print it?

Print at 100% scale (or "actual size") on US Letter or A4 paper. The black & white chart saves ink and is easy to read. You can also stitch straight from a tablet.

Does it work with Pattern Keeper?

Yes. A Pattern Keeper friendly PDF is included, so you can import it and mark stitches off as you go. Backstitch (if any) is listed separately, because Pattern Keeper only tracks full crosses.

What is the free bonus pack?
