Some Christmas projects are meant to be passed down, and this is where I keep them. These are my biggest, most giving holiday designs, starting with a Christmas stocking cross stitch you can personalize with a name. They are the kind of patterns you stitch slowly over a few cozy weeks and bring out again every December for years.

Personalized Christmas stocking cross stitch and more heirlooms

Heirloom pieces take a bit more time, so I plan them with extras that help: alphabets for names, clear finishing notes and charts split over easy-to-read pages. Like every pattern in the shop, each one comes as an instant PDF with a full-color chart, a black and white symbol chart, a large print chart and a Pattern Keeper version, plus a DMC floss key.

If you want something festive to finish sooner, my Christmas ornament patterns are one-evening stitches. And for every holiday design in one place, visit my Christmas cross stitch patterns page.

Good to know

Are these patterns a physical kit?

No, these are digital PDF patterns. You download them instantly after checkout. Fabric, thread and hoop are not included, and each pattern lists exactly which DMC colors you need.

Are they suitable for beginners?

Every pattern has an honest difficulty label. Beginner patterns use a small palette, full cross stitches only and very little confetti, so they are lovely first projects.

Can I use Pattern Keeper?

Yes. Every pattern includes a Pattern Keeper friendly PDF along with the full-color and black & white charts.
