About this pattern

There's something so calming about a one-color sampler. This one is stitched entirely in classic Turkey red. 'LOVE grows here' is at the top, then a Quaker star medallion between two crowned hearts, trees of life and bluebirds around a little house, and a small alphabet at the bottom, all inside a zigzag border.

You only need one color, so there are no thread changes. It's perfect for a first big sampler or for relaxing evenings when you just want to stitch. It's charted for white or antique white Aida, where the red really sings.

The design is 98 x 130 stitches, about 7 x 9.3 inches on 14-count.

It looks wonderful in a farmhouse kitchen or hallway, and it makes a heartfelt wedding or anniversary gift. Use the little alphabet to add initials if you like.

How do I get my pattern?

Right after checkout you land on your order page with download links for every file, plus a "download all" zip. Links work for 7 days, and you can reopen your order page anytime to get fresh links.

Is this a physical kit?

No. This is a digital PDF download. No fabric, thread or hoop is included and nothing is shipped. The floss key lists every DMC color you need.

How do I print it?

Print at 100% scale (or "actual size") on US Letter or A4 paper. The black & white chart saves ink and is easy to read. You can also stitch straight from a tablet.

Does it work with Pattern Keeper?

Yes. A Pattern Keeper friendly PDF is included, so you can import it and mark stitches off as you go. Backstitch (if any) is listed separately, because Pattern Keeper only tracks full crosses.

What is the free bonus pack?
