About this pattern

Welcome a new little one with a woodland gathering. A sleepy fox and a soft brown bunny sit among ferns and a red toadstool, with 'Welcome' above them and your baby's name below in elegant capitals. The birth date and weight are underneath, and a leafy vine border with tiny blossoms goes all the way round.

The sample shows 'Rowan', but the PDF includes an alphabet and numbers chart for the name and details, plus tips for planning and centering each line. You can make it completely theirs.

There are twelve warm woodland colors on oatmeal Aida. The design is 98 x 114 stitches, about 7 x 8.1 inches on 14-count.

It's a treasured baby shower or newborn gift, and a nursery piece that will hang in their room for years.

Questions

How do I get my pattern?

Right after checkout you land on your order page with download links for every file, plus a "download all" zip. Links work for 7 days, and you can reopen your order page anytime to get fresh links.

Is this a physical kit?

No. This is a digital PDF download. No fabric, thread or hoop is included and nothing is shipped. The floss key lists every DMC color you need.

How do I print it?

Print at 100% scale (or "actual size") on US Letter or A4 paper. The black & white chart saves ink and is easy to read. You can also stitch straight from a tablet.

Does it work with Pattern Keeper?

Yes. A Pattern Keeper friendly PDF is included, so you can import it and mark stitches off as you go. Backstitch (if any) is listed separately, because Pattern Keeper only tracks full crosses.

What is the free bonus pack?

Every order comes with a little thank-you: my one-page beginner cheat sheet and 3 bonus mini patterns (a star ornament, a tiny tree and a little mushroom). They appear on your order page next to your patterns.

Is there a discount if I buy several patterns?

Yes. Buy any 3 or more individual patterns or sets and each one is 25% off, applied automatically in your cart. Bundles already have their own price. During a shop-wide sale you always get the single best discount (they don't stack).

What if something is wrong with my file?

If a file has a problem, we'll fix it or refund you. Just send Sara a message. See the refund policy for details.
