About this pattern
These Christmas bookmark cross stitch patterns are my favorite kind of quick gift: four slim designs that slip into a book, a stocking or a card. There's Candy Stripe with peppermints and a little gingerbread man, Pine Forest with folk trees and a cardinal, Cocoa & Book with a steaming mug on a stack of novels, and Starry Night with a cottage under the moon.
All four share one 10-color palette, so a single set of floss makes the whole set.
What's inside
- Each bookmark charted on its own full page in color and black & white, plus large print, Pattern Keeper and OXS files
- An overview chart of all four side by side
- Real-size felt backing templates with a tassel hole for every bookmark
- A real-size tassel card and a step-by-step tassel guide, with tassel colors for each design
- A paperback or hardback size guide
- Floss key with skein counts, stitch-time estimate, real-size preview and a progress tracker
Sizes: each bookmark is 28 x 104 stitches: 2.0 x 7.4 in on 14 count (hardback size), 1.8 x 6.5 in on 16 count, or 1.6 x 5.8 in on 18 count (pocket paperback size).
Who it's for: book club friends, teachers, the reader who has everything, or yourself with a cozy December read. They are a good first project too: full stitches only, simple shapes and an easy border to count from.
I suggest Antique White Aida, 14 or 18 count.
Plus our free beginner cheat sheet and bonus minis with every order.
