About this pattern
This cross stitch alphabet pack is the one I reach for whenever a piece needs a name, a date or a little word. Eight alphabets: seven full ones with numbers, plus 26 floral initials, all charted clearly and ready to mix and match.
The alphabets (capital height in stitches)
- Hearth Script, 11, with joined-up lowercase letters
- Folk Capitals, 11, with a second accent color
- Bold Block, 11
- Cottage Sans, 7, with lowercase letters
- Nordic Capitals, 9
- Quaker Marking Letters, 7
- Tiny Letters, 5, for dates and labels
- Floral Initials: A to Z, each letter in a little flowering vine (25 x 21 stitches)

On 14 count Aida, 14 stitches is one inch, so Hearth Script capitals are about 0.8 inch tall and Tiny Letters about 0.4 inch.
Use them for baby announcements, wedding samplers, stockings, bookmarks, pet portraits or a framed family name. Full stitches only, and every alphabet uses one color except the folk capitals (two) and the floral initials (four). Great for beginners who want to personalize their first pieces.
