About this pattern

If you love the meditative side of stitching, this one is for you. A red poinsettia with eight petals and green leaves sits in the center of a garland ring. Gold stars, little hearts and tiny flowers are spaced evenly between, and there's a gold star in each corner.

Everything is perfectly symmetrical, so once you've stitched one eighth you know exactly what comes next. It's a soothing, rhythmic project. The eight colors are classic Christmas reds and greens with a warm old-gold accent, charted for ivory Aida.

The medallion is 89 x 89 stitches, about 6.4 inches square on 14-count. It looks lovely in a round frame, in a square shadow box, or finished as the center of a pillow.

Is this a physical kit?

No. This is a digital PDF download. No fabric, thread or hoop is included and nothing is shipped. The floss key lists every DMC color you need.

How do I print it?

Print at 100% scale (or "actual size") on US Letter or A4 paper. The black & white chart saves ink and is easy to read. You can also stitch straight from a tablet.

Does it work with Pattern Keeper?

Yes. A Pattern Keeper friendly PDF is included, so you can import it and mark stitches off as you go. Backstitch (if any) is listed separately, because Pattern Keeper only tracks full crosses.
