About this pattern
This little sampler is our motto, so of course it had to be part of my signature collection. "Home is where the hearth is" sits above and below a tiny cottage with glowing windows, two pine trees and a heart floating up from the chimney, all inside a twisting vine border dotted with pink flowers.
It's 100 x 70 stitches, about 7.1 x 5 inches on 14-count Aida, and uses just 8 DMC colors. The lettering is simple and clear, and there's no fractional stitching anywhere, so it's a lovely beginner sampler and a calm, happy project for anyone who likes to stitch while chatting or listening to something cozy.
It makes a sweet housewarming gift, a first-home present or a little reminder by your own front door. I like it on antique white Aida in a simple wooden frame.
You get a full color chart, a black and white symbol chart, a large print version, a Pattern Keeper compatible PDF and a floss key with DMC numbers and skein estimates.
