About this pattern
There's a rocking chair in my house where every slow evening begins, and this pattern is my love letter to it. A warm wooden rocker with a patchwork quilt thrown over the arm, a braided rug underneath, a stack of books with a steaming cup of tea, and a little heart hoop hanging on the wall.
The patchwork quilt is the fun part: lots of small squares in soft pinks, sage, honey and blue, so you can watch it come together one patch at a time. The design is 70 x 80 stitches, about 5 x 5.7 inches on 14-count Aida, in 12 DMC colors. It's an intermediate pattern with full cross stitches only.
It's a lovely gift for a quilter, a grandma, or anyone whose favorite place is their own armchair. I suggest antique white Aida and a simple wooden frame.
You get a full color chart, a black and white symbol chart, a large print version, a Pattern Keeper compatible PDF and a floss key with DMC numbers and skein estimates.
