About this pattern
This is my idea of a perfect afternoon: rain tapping on the window, green curtains pulled back, a sleepy ginger cat curled up on the window seat next to a pile of cushions, a stack of books and a mug of tea.
I designed it for the slow kind of stitching. There's a lot to enjoy: the raindrops on the glass, the cat's stripes, the cushions and the little drawers under the seat. It's 70 x 90 stitches, about 5 x 6.4 inches on 14-count Aida, in 13 DMC colors, and it's an intermediate pattern with full cross stitches only.
It would look lovely next to a bookshelf or in a reading corner, and it's a thoughtful gift for the book lover or cat lover in your life (or someone who is both, like me).
I suggest antique white Aida so the scene feels warm against the cool rainy window.
