About this pattern
A sunny lemon slice with its pale segments and white pith, plus two glossy green leaves. It's fresh and simple and always makes me think of summer lemonade.
It's 36 x 36 stitches in just 6 DMC colors, about 2.6 inches square on 14 count, so it's one of the fastest patterns in the set. The rind outline gives it a crisp edge, and the segments are lovely little blocks of color to fill in.
Stitch it on oatmeal Aida and pop it in a 3 or 4 inch hoop. It looks great on its own in a bright kitchen, or as part of the Pocket Pantry gallery wall with the jam jar, honey pot, teacup and bread.
