About this pattern
Homemade jam with a gingham cloth tied over the lid is one of my favorite cozy kitchen sights, so it had to be the first of my pantry minis. A plump strawberry leans against the jar, and there's a little berry on the label too.
It's 36 x 40 stitches in 7 DMC colors, about 2.6 x 2.9 inches on 14 count, so it fits a 3 or 4 inch hoop. The checks on the cover are easy once you get the rhythm, and the rest is lovely solid red.
I stitched the preview on oatmeal Aida, which makes the white checks and label pop. Make all five minis for a little gallery wall, or tuck one into a card with a jar of real jam as a gift.
You'll get a color chart, a black and white chart, a large-print chart and a Pattern Keeper compatible PDF, plus a DMC floss key and a how-to-start page for beginners.
