About this pattern
This little teacup is inspired by the mismatched china I love finding at car boot sales: white with a gold rim, a ring of tiny blue forget-me-nots and a pale blue band on the saucer. The steam is three soft backstitch curls.
It's 40 x 34 stitches in 6 DMC colors, about 2.9 x 2.4 inches on 14 count. It's a very calm stitch, with mostly white and blue, and it fits a 3 or 4 inch hoop.
Oatmeal Aida lets the white china show nicely. It makes a sweet gift for a tea lover, a thank-you for a friend who always has the kettle on, or a cozy addition to your own kitchen wall.
You'll get a color chart, a black and white chart, a large-print chart and a Pattern Keeper compatible PDF, plus a DMC floss key and a how-to-start page for beginners.
