About this pattern
For anyone who loves woodland things, this biscornu has a big spotty red toadstool with two little ones on a patch of grass on the top face, and a fairy ring of four toadstools circling a little flower on the bottom face.
Each face is 50 x 50 stitches, about 3.6 inches square on 14-count Aida, in 6 DMC colors, with a red border so the two faces line up when you join them.
A biscornu is a small eight-sided pincushion made from two stitched squares sewn together with a twist. My step-by-step finishing guide shows every stage: back-stitching the edges, matching the corners, stuffing and sewing on the center button.
It makes the cutest pincushion for a mushroom lover, and it looks lovely sitting on a shelf as a little ornament too.
You get both faces as full color charts, black and white symbol charts, a large print version and a Pattern Keeper compatible PDF, plus a floss key with DMC numbers and skein estimates and my illustrated biscornu finishing guide.
