About this pattern
Two frosty snowflake faces stitched in soft white and ice blue on navy Aida, so they glow like snow under a streetlight.
The top face has one big snowflake surrounded by a ring of little stars. The bottom face has a central snowflake with a circle of smaller flakes around it, inside a double border. Each face is 50 x 50 stitches, about 3.6 inches square on 14-count Aida, and the whole pincushion uses just 3 DMC colors.
A biscornu is a small eight-sided pincushion made from two stitched squares joined with a twist. My step-by-step finishing guide shows you how to back-stitch the edges, join the faces, stuff it and add a button in the middle.
It's a lovely winter project, a gift for a stitching friend, or a pretty little thing to keep in a bowl of ornaments all season.
You get both faces as full color charts, black and white symbol charts, a large print version and a Pattern Keeper compatible PDF, plus a floss key with DMC numbers and skein estimates and my illustrated biscornu finishing guide.
