About this pattern
This goose cross stitch pattern is my answer to the bow trend: a plump white farm goose with a big satin ribbon bow and a sprig of forget-me-nots in her beak. I wanted her to look a little proud of herself, like she dressed up for a garden party and nobody can tell her otherwise.
What's inside

Size 61 x 57 stitches: about 4.4 x 4.1 in on 14 count, 3.8 x 3.6 in on 16 and 3.4 x 3.2 in on 18. It fits a 6 inch hoop on 14 count, or a 5 inch hoop on 16 or 18. Full stitches only, 15 colors, no backstitch. She takes about 8 hours at about 200 stitches an hour; your pace may vary.
Ways to use it Hang her in a hoop in the kitchen or nursery, frame her for a gallery wall, or stitch her on the corner of a tea towel. The red bow version looks lovely all winter, and the pink one is made for spring and Valentine's Day.
Who it's for Anyone who loves geese, bows and a bit of cottage charm. She's a friendly first project for a confident beginner and a sweet gift for a friend who collects anything goose.
I'd stitch her on white 14 count Aida.
Plus our free beginner cheat sheet and bonus minis with every order.
