About this pattern
This funny goose cross stitch pattern says it plainly: Honk if you're cozy. Our silly white goose is wrapped in a red plaid blanket next to a mug of cocoa, and honestly that's my whole plan for the weekend too. I wrote the line myself one chilly evening, so you won't find it on every other hoop.

Size 62 x 62 stitches: about 4.4 in square on 14 count, 3.9 in on 16 and 3.4 in on 18. It fits a 6 inch hoop on 14 count, or a 5 inch hoop on 16 or 18. Full stitches only, 13 colors, no backstitch, and the letters are chunky and easy to count. It takes about 5 hours at about 200 stitches an hour; your pace may vary.
Ways to use it Hang it by the sofa, on the reading-nook shelf or next to the coffee station. It also makes a cheerful framed gift for the friend who owns too many blankets.
Who it's for Goose fans, cocoa lovers and anyone who likes their stitching with a wink. With only a few colors and big, simple shapes, it's a happy first project for beginners.
I'd stitch it on white 14 count Aida, or antique white if you want it extra warm.
