This Nordic Christmas cross stitch sampler brings nine Scandinavian folk motifs together in one crisp 3 x 3 design with a little diamond border. I kept it to just two colors, the way classic red-on-white Scandi stitching looks best, so it's calm to stitch and easy on your floss stash.

Sizes Each motif is 49 x 49 stitches: about 3.5 in on 14 count, 3.1 in on 16 and 2.7 in on 18. The whole sampler is 169 x 169 stitches, about 12.1 in square on 14 count. Full stitches only, no backstitch and very few single stitches.
