This moth cross stitch bundle is my whole Moths & Specimens collection: three patterns for anyone who loves an old natural history cabinet.
What's inside
- Moth Specimen Sampler: nine real moths laid out like a museum plate, each labeled with its Latin name under LEPIDOPTERA, in natural colors plus a sepia colorway.
- Luna Moth: a single pale green luna moth, plus a second chart with seven golden moon phases above her, in 3 colorways including Midnight on navy Aida.
- Pastel Moth Set: nine little moths in soft pink, lavender, mint and butter yellow, each with a tiny companion, in one shared palette with every mini on its own page.
Every pattern comes with a color chart, a black and white chart, a large print chart, a Pattern Keeper compatible PDF, an OXS file and a DMC floss key, plus the Hearth Plus extras: a stitch-time estimate, a real-size page and a progress tracker. Every preview is rendered from the actual chart, so what you see is what you stitch.
Sizes on 14 count: specimen sampler 11.3 x 11.4 in, luna moth 4.9 x 5.2 in (5.4 x 6.1 in with the moon phases) and the pastel minis about 2.4 to 2.9 in each.
Frame the specimen sampler for a reading corner, hang the luna moth by a window, and stitch the pastel minis as ornaments, cards or a little gallery wall. They make thoughtful gifts for a nature lover or a friend with a dark academia bookshelf.
