About this pattern
These pastel moth cross stitch patterns are nine little moths in soft pink, lavender, mint and butter yellow, each with a tiny companion underneath. They all share one palette, so a single set of floss covers the whole set.
The nine minis
- Luna Moth and Crescent Moon
- Rosy Maple Moth with Blossoms
- Io Moth with Sparkles
- Cecropia Moth and the Moon
- Polyphemus Moth with Mushrooms
- Garden Tiger Moth with Blossoms
- Cinnabar Moth with Ragwort
- Elephant Hawk-moth with Willowherb
- Death's-head Hawk-moth with Stars
Each one is drawn from a real moth, just softened into pastels, and the cinnabar and the elephant hawk-moth sit with the plants their caterpillars love.
Every mini has its own page in the color, black and white and large print charts and in the Pattern Keeper file, plus an overview layout if you'd like to stitch all nine as one sampler. You also get OXS files, a muted Vintage colorway, a floss key with skein counts, a real-size page, ornament circle templates, printable gift tags and a tick-it-off checklist.
Size: each mini is 34 to 40 stitches wide and 30 to 37 tall, at most about 2.9 x 2.6 inches on 14 count, 2.5 x 2.3 on 16 and 2.2 x 2.1 on 18. One mini is about 2 to 4 hours of stitching at about 200 stitches an hour (your pace may vary).
Full stitches only and beginner friendly. Hang them as ornaments, tie one onto a gift, tuck one into a card or frame three in a row. I suggest White 14 count Aida. Every preview is rendered from the actual chart, so what you see is what you stitch.
Plus our free beginner cheat sheet and bonus minis with every order.
